Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs hosted a dinner in honour of the Minister of Minerals of the United Republic of Tanzania

There were also discussions on cooperation to enhance bilateral trade of precious stones and minerals between the two countries

Both the sides expressed readiness and commitment to expand and deepen Thai-Tanzanian relations for the mutual benefit of both nations and peoples

H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, hosted a dinner in honour of H.E. Dr. Doto Mashaka Biteko, Minister of Minerals of the United Republic of Tanzania. The dinner was also attended by Mr. Worawoot Pongprapapant, Director-General of Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs.

Both sides noted with appreciation the excellent relations between both countries and expressed readiness and commitment to continue working closely to expand and deepen Thai-Tanzanian relations for the mutual benefit of both nations and peoples. There were also discussions on cooperation to enhance bilateral trade of precious stones and minerals between the two countries, such as rubies, sapphires, and gold, as well as exchange training courses to help develop Tanzania's mineral industry workforce.
