Coronavirus – South Africa: COVID-19 Statistics for Republic of South Africa (16 January 2022)

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, January 17, 2022/APO Group/ --

A total of 24,399 tests were conducted in the last 24hrs, with 2,597 new cases, which represents a 10.6% positivity rate. A further 25 #COVID19 related deaths have been reported, bringing total fatalities to 93,364 to date.
