Conference on “Building Critical Mass and Sustaining Health Research Capacity in Ethiopia”

U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia Michael A. Raynor, and State Minister of Science and Higher Education, Professor Afework Kassu will officially open the conference

ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia, October 25, 2019/APO Group/ --

A conference on “Building Critical Mass and Sustaining Health Research Capacity in Ethiopia” will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2019.

U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia Michael A. Raynor, and State Minister of Science and Higher Education, Professor Afework Kassu will officially open the conference.

The aim of the conference is to explore how universities in the United States can work more effectively to develop the science, technology, research and innovation capacity of their Ethiopian counterparts in a way that will support Ethiopia’s priority areas, particularly in the health sector.
