TİKA Organizes an Experience Sharing Program for Azerbaijani Tourism Professionals

14 experts who take part in the processes of developing tourism education policies participated in the training programs organized in Antalya

The Azerbaijani delegation aims to apply the Turkish tourism model in Karabakh, where efforts are made to develop tourism after liberation from the Armenian occupation

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye, Falez Vocational and Technical High School, State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ACDTA), and Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University, affiliated with ACDTA, organized the Tourism Education Program (TUREP).

As part of the Tourism Education Program (TUREP), organized by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye, Falez Vocational and Technical High School, State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ACDTA), and Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University, affiliated with ACDTA; the “Training on Current Approaches” was held for tourism experts in Tunisia, Uzbekistan, and the Gambia as the introductory module of the Tourism Education Program (TUREP), while the “Advanced Training of Trainers on Food and Beverage, Accommodation, and Travel Services in Tourism” was held for Azerbaijani tourism experts in the second phase of the project.

14 experts who take part in the processes of developing tourism education policies participated in the training programs organized in Antalya.

The two-day training, which drew great interest from participants, focused on “Guest Relations,” “Occupational Health and Safety,” “Automation Software,” “Guest Welcoming,” “Table Setting,” “Soups,” “Travel Agency Management and Tour Operations,” and “Desserts.”

The Azerbaijani delegation aims to apply the Turkish tourism model in Karabakh, where efforts are made to develop tourism after liberation from the Armenian occupation.
