Spain encourages the Malian authorities to carry out a thorough investigation of this attack in order to clarify the causes and identify the culprits so that they are brought to justice. Spain also supports the efforts made by the Malian Government for the security and protection of the villages located in the centre of the country with the aim of restoring peace and stability.
