On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the inauguration of the Suez Canal and the visit of the French President to Egypt, Mr. Stéphane Romatet, the French Ambassador to Egypt, discusses the dynamic and diverse relationship between France and Egypt.

The 2019 France-Egypt Cultural Year celebrates the vitality of our historic ties and provides an important opportunity to highlight Egyptian and French heritage, promote intercultural dialogue and strengthen exchanges between our two countries.
