On April 16, the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Arab Republic of Egypt held a press conference with the participation of local experts and a wide range of journalists on the preparation and content of the International Water Conference, which will be held in June 2022 in Dushanbe.

During the press conference on the topic “Tajikistan – a country of the  avant-garde  in the field of water, climate and green economy”, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Cairo Zarobiddin Kosimi, the Deputy Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of Egypt Rajab Abdulazim and the Egyptian expert on political issues Bashir Abdulfattoh provided detail information on the international initiatives of Tajikistan in the field of water, the content and significance of the Dushanbe conference and the fruitful cooperation between Tajikistan and Egypt in the field of water and climate change.
