Radio News Release Soundbite Recording

You are about to use APO Group's Radio News Release, the first content distribution service dedicated to radio in Africa.

Before recording, make sure to:

  • Silence everything you don't want your microphone to record
  • Put your mobile phone on airplane mode
  • Minimise echo
  • Get close to your microphone

To record your soundbite, please click on Record. Maximum record time is 2:00 mins. Once you have recorded your soundbite, you can listen to your recording and re-record it as many times as you wish.

Once you are satisfied with your soundbite, you can download the file to your computer by clicking on Download. Enter the name of the person who is speaking, organisation, title and language spoken as the file's name before downloading.

Once you have downloaded your soundbite, you can send it via email to your APO Group representative along with a title / headline, a text description, your logo, issuing city, source name, date and time for distribution (incl. timezone).
