In cooperation of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and the Association Friends of Africa (AFA), the "2nd Tanzania Oral and Dental Health Organization" has been carried out at the Faculty of Dentistry of Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences in Dar es Salaam.

The trainings, covering the fields of Endodontics, Pedodontics, Maxillofacial Radiology and Maxillofacial surgery and Prosthetic dental treatment carried out with the participation of more than 50 academic staff working in the faculty, were given theoretically and practically by 9 faculty members from various universities and institutions of our country.

Within the scope of the organization, which started with theoretical trainings and continued with dental tomography device training provided by TİKA, implant application has been performed at the faculty for the first time under scientific conditions by our surgeons. After the theoretical and practical trainings, implant applications have been performed on patient under the supervision of our surgeons, and treatments have been performed on live patients by performing applications on models in the field of root canal treatment.

Within the scope of the organization, where theoretical and practical trainings in the field of pediatric dentistry have been given, support was provided to increase the capacity of the faculty.

Participation certificates were given to the local physicians who attended the training in a ceremony on the last day of the organization.
