INTERVIEW Antonio Vieira. He has a different opinion in relation to the new model for the oil sector, because he suspects that nothing will change. He explains himself using various substantive arguments: the staff at Sonangol and those going to the concessionaire agency are the same as those who have benefited over the last twenty years and are not likely to change; the leadership of Sonangol should be in different hands, and the current sharing agreement model should be abandoned. António Vieira, an Angolan engineer who has previously managed Cobalt Angola, says that the government gave in to the oil companies’ agenda and ended up being misled.
