The 4th annual exhibition of student’s paintings from Japan is now open

In Botswana, 119 pieces of paintings from Chigasaki Primary School (Yokohama) will be exhibited and later in Japan, paintings from Ben Thema Primary School (Botswana) will be added to pieces from Yokohama to co-exhibit.

GABORONE, Botswana, November 2, 2017/APO Group/ --

On the 23rd October 2017 at Ben Thema Primary School in Gaborone, the exhibition of students’ paintings from Japan has started with the opening ceremony. Since the exhibition was held at the school and Tsuzuki MY Plaza in Yokohama for the first time in 2014, this year marks 4th exhibition. It has been supported by Embassy of Japan in Gaborone, JICA Yokohama, City of Yokohama Board of Education with cooperation of Nippon Express. In Botswana, 119 pieces of paintings from Chigasaki Primary School (Yokohama) will be exhibited and later in Japan, paintings from Ben Thema Primary School (Botswana) will be added to pieces from Yokohama to co-exhibit.

Gaborone, Botswana
23-28 October 2017 at Ben Thema Primary School
30 October - 3 November 2017 at Thapong Visual Arts Centre

Yokohama, Japan
21-27 December 2017 at Tsuzuki Ward Headquarters Exhibition Hall
10-31 January 2018 at JICA Yokohama Office
20-25 March 2018 at Tsuzuki MY Plaza

At the opening ceremony, the ambassador of Japan to Botswana, His Excellency Mr. Masahiro Onishi gave a speech followed by welcome remarks by Ben Thema Primary School & prayer in Setswana language.
