Qatar Ambassador to Cote d'Ivoire Lays Foundation Stone for Health Centre, Mosque Project in Cote d'Ivoire

The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire praised the excellent relations existing between the State of Qatar and Côte d'Ivoire

ABIDJAN, Ivory Coast, January 28, 2022/APO Group/ --

Qatars Ambassador to the Republic of Cote dIvoire Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, laid the foundation stone of a project for building a health center and mosque in the Abobo-Biabo neighborhood, one of the municipalities of Abidjan, the economic capital of Cote dIvoire, with the support of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the State of Qatar.

The foundation stone laying ceremony was attended by Sheikh Ousmane Diakite, President of the Supreme Council of Imams, Mosques and Islamic Affairs, Supreme Commander of Muslims in Côte d'Ivoire, and a number of officials in the country.

The President of the Supreme Council of Imams, Mosques and Islamic Affairs of Côte d'Ivoire expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani for his continuous efforts to serve Islam and Muslims all over the world.

For his part, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire praised the excellent relations existing between the State of Qatar and Côte d'Ivoire, with the support and care of the leadership of the two countries, stressing the State of Qatar's keenness to upgrade these relations to better levels in the future, especially in the economic and cultural fields.
