Press release on Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov’s meeting with Ibrahima Kassory Fofana, State Minister for Investment and Public-Private Partnership at the Administration of the President of the Republic of Guinea and Chairman of the Guinean part of the Intergovernmental Russian-Guinean Commission for Economic, Scientific and Trade Cooper

MOSCOW, Russia, June 8, 2017/APO/ --

On June 7, Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met at the foreign ministry with Ibrahima Kassory Fofana who is in Moscow on a working visit. Mr Fofana is the State Minister for Investment and Public-Private Partnership at the Administration of the President of the Republic of Guinea and Chairman of the Guinean party of the Intergovernmental Russian-Guinean Commission (IGC) for Economic, Scientific and Trade Cooperation.

The officials exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the entire system of friendly Russian-Guinean relations, summed up the intermediate results of the effort to implement the decisions of the 4th IGC meeting in Moscow (April 2016), and considered issues related to preparations for the 5th IGC meeting scheduled for early July of this year in Guinea. They also confirmed both countries’ shared commitment to promote their partnership in the trade, economic, investment and humanitarian areas, improve bilateral legislation, and secure the interests of Russian and Guinean businesses.
