On August 23, Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov received Ambassador of the Republic of Namibia to Russia Ndali Che Kamati, at the latter's request.

During the meeting, the officials discussed important issues related to promoting the traditionally friendly Russian-Namibian relations, and confirmed the mutual commitment of Moscow and Windhoek to maintain a trust-based political dialogue on key regional and international issues, as well as to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic, investment, and other areas.
