Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita Holds Talks with Dutch Counterpart

The Dutch minister reiterated the importance that his country attaches to the development of the strategic partnership between the European Union and Morocco

He also praised the role of Morocco, as a serious and credible partner for the stability of the region and as a growth driver for development in Africa

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Expatriates, MFA Nasser Bourita, on Thursday had a telephone call with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Wopke Hoekstra.

On this occasion, the two Ministers praised the new dynamic initiated to strengthen relations between Morocco and the Netherlands on sound and solid foundations, in a spirit of partnership and mutual respect so as to serve the strategic interests of the two countries.

MFA Bourita and Mr. Hoekstra highlighted the importance of strengthening political dialogue and promoting economic partnership, as well as opening it up to innovative areas such as new value chains and the green economy, noting that these talks opportunity were also an opportunity to commend the role of the Moroccan community established in the Netherlands as a pillar of the bilateral partnership.
