Launch of text books for South Sudan's new school curriculum

Launch of school text books for new South Sudanese National Curriculum

Where: Juba 1 Boys School, South Sudan 

Why:     Tomorrow is a significant day for the education sector of this country as it will adopt and launch South Sudan’s first national textbooks, covering all grades of school education. The new textbooks have been developed by Ministry of General Education and Instruction (MOGEI) and are based on the new curriculum, the first to be adopted since independence. The guest of honour at the launch event will be H.E Dr. James Wani Igga, Vice President of South Sudan. The event will be presided over by the Minister of General Education.
