Increase on Beneficiary Education on the benefits of the new South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) card by Honourable Minister Susan Shabangu

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, August 3, 2018/APO Group/ --

The Minister of Social Development: Honourable Minister Susan Shabangu will today (yesterday), 02 August 2018, visit cash pay points in the Sedibeng area. 

The aim is to increase awareness and beneficiary education on the benefits and urgency of obtaining the new SASSA card. 

The Minister will be at Mpho Sphiwe community hall in Sebokeng zone 14, Sedibeng at 9:00am. This is an area where the government has been inundated with calls for increased delivery of essential services to the deserving communities. 

As part of the National plan, various Ministers from the Inter Ministerial Committee will be spread across the country to further communicate the benefits of the new SASSA card. Amongst these benefits is that grant recipients are entitled to three (3) free cash withdrawals and no unauthorized deductions will be allowed on this new SASSA card.
