His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, met with His Excellency Joseph Ngute Prime Minister of the Republic of Cameroon, during the Kigali Summit on Malaria and NTDs hosted by the Government of Rwanda on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral relations in various fields and a number of regional files of common interest. 

His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan underscored the UAE's keenness to strengthen bilateral relations with Cameroon, stressing that there are many opportunities to reinforce ties for the benefit of both countries.

For his part, His Excellency Joseph Ngute praised the strong and deep-rooted relations between the two countries and constructive cooperation at all levels, underscoring that many avenues exist to support and enhance cooperation in various fields.
