Foreign Minister to participate in the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa

In the course of the event, a high-level debate is planned on the future of the region, as well as on security, social and economic challenges and opportunities

On 6 and 7 April 2019, Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs will represent Latvia at the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa in Jordan.

In the course of the event, a high-level debate is planned on the future of the region, as well as on security, social and economic challenges and opportunities. The forum will bring together more than 1000 heads of state and government, ministers, business leaders and civil society representatives from Europe, America, the Gulf states, the Middle East and North Africa.

Edgars Rinkēvičs will have a meeting with the Foreign Affairs Minister of Jordan, Ayman Al Safadi, the Foreign Affairs Minister of Kazakhstan, Beibut Atamkulov, and the Foreign Affairs Minister of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli.
