Dinner at Ghana’s Ambassador’s Residence for Japanese Members of the International Friendship Centre

There were video clips on Ghana’s tourism, investment drive and manufacturing

TOKYO, Japan, November 14, 2017/APO Group/ --

The Ambassador of Ghana to Japan, H. E. Mr. S. J. K. Parker-Allotey, on 27th October, 2017, hosted a dinner for Japanese members of the International Friendship Centre at his Residence, Setagaya, as part of the Mission’s Cultural Exchange activities and to conclude the 60 years celebration of bilateral diplomatic relations with Japan.

The former Ambassador of Japan to Ghana, Ambassador Naoto Nikai and his spouse, were present at the event. Also present were the Director for Africa I Division of the host Foreign Ministry, (Mr. Araki Kaname) and Staff of the Mission.

There were video clips on Ghana’s tourism, investment drive and manufacturing. The Head of Mission also spoke about the geography, history, culture and economy of the country.

Ambassador Nikai spoke about his experiences and impressions about Ghana during his tour of duty, while Mr. Kaname spoke about the Sixty-year relations between our two countries and the highlights of our bilateral exchanges.

A Special Quiz on Ghana was held and prizes were given to the best three contestants. All invited guests were given souvenirs to take away and were feted with Ghanaian food, drinks and music.

The dinner was well appreciated by the participants.
