New Permanent Representative of Mauritania presents credentials

Mr. Ould Brahim Khlil holds a Master of Arts in Philology, a Master in Multilingual Communication, and a PhD in Public Relations

VIENNA, Austria, November 28, 2016/APO/ --

The new Permanent Representative of Mauritania to the United Nations (Vienna), Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Brahim Khlil, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.

During his career Mr. Ould Brahim Khlil has served in various capacities, among them:

Ambassador to Germany, non-resident Ambassador to Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia; Ambassador, Permanent Delegate to UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO); Ambassador to Jordan; Ambassador to Belgium and the European Union, and Permanent Representative to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the Union for the Mediterranean, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and to the World Custom Organization (WCO), non-resident Ambassador to the Netherlands and Luxembourg; Ambassador to France, non-resident Ambassador to Denmark, Portugal and Sweden; Minister responsible for Relations with Parliament and Civil Society; Minister for Tourism and Handicraft.

Mr. Ould Brahim Khlil holds a Master of Arts in Philology, a Master in Multilingual Communication, and a PhD in Public Relations.
