New Permanent Representative of Lesotho Presents Credentials to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva

Moshe Neo Kao, the new Permanent Representative of Lesotho to the United Nations Office at Geneva, today presented his credentials to Michael Møller, the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Kao had been working as an independent consultant in Geneva on trade and development issues since 2014

Moshe Neo Kao, the new Permanent Representative of Lesotho to the United Nations Office at Geneva, today presented his credentials to Michael Møller, the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.
 

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Kao had been working as an independent consultant in Geneva on trade and development issues since 2014. From 2011 to 2014, he was a Minister Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Lesotho to the United Nations Office at Geneva, focusing on Lesotho’s trade and development positions within the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and the World Trade Organization. From 2008 to 2011, he served as a Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of Lesotho in Ottawa, Canada, leading the economic sector that oversees Lesotho’s interests in bilateral agreements with Canada. He worked at the Lesotho Revenue Authority in Maseru, Lesotho from 2002 to 2008 as Head of the Executive Support Unit and Director for Change and Project Management. 
 
Mr. Kao has a Bachelor of Science in computer sciences and information systems from Rhodes University, Grahamstown, South Africa (2000) and an MBA from the University of South Africa, Pretoria, South Africa (2012). He was born on 1 March 1977. He has a number of publications.
