1. During his visit to Morocco to attend at the Fourth Japan-Arab Economic Forum and to have meetings with the Moroccan Government, Mr. Yoji Muto, State Minister for Foreign Affairs had respectivelymeetings with Mr. Abdelilah BENKIRANE, Head of Government and Mr. Salaheddine MEZOUAR, Minister for Foreign Affairs in Rabat on May Fifth. He also held a telephonic conversation with Ms. BOUAIDA, State Minister for Foreign Affairs in Casablanca on May Fourth.

2. Exchanging the views on bilateral issues, both parties shared the view of the importance of the strengthening of economic ties between two countries, such as the acceleration of the negotiation on bilateral investment treaty.
