Deputy Minister of Defence and Military Veterans Mr Kebby Maphatsoe to reassure Military Veterans on Education Support for the Financial Year 2017

To date approximately 5000 are being provided with education support and thousands new applications have be received for 2017

CAPE TOWN, South Africa, January 10, 2017/APO/ --

The Deputy Minister of Defence and Military Veterans will host a media briefing with stakeholders of military veterans to outline plans aimed at the provision of quality education to military veterans and their dependants.

The demand for education support for military veterans has significantly increased exponentially since year 2015/16 financial year resulting in huge financial and administrative challenges which are being engaged with the various stakeholders.

To date approximately 5000 are being provided with education support and thousands new applications have be received for 2017.
