CyberXchange Conference 2016: Cyber Security Experts Emphasize Need For Organisations And Governments To Protect Their Communication Infrastructures

Event converged Information Security experts from 50 countries to address critical Cyber Security concerns

LAGOS, Nigeria, November 5, 2016/APO/ --

In a bid to further the global drive for improved cyber security, CyberXchange Conference  (www.CyberXchange.com), West Africa’s premier information security conference held at the Landmark Event Centre, Lekki Lagos Nigeria, from November 2nd through 3rd, 2016. The conference was strategically aimed at updating Information Security professionals on the essential security trends that will enhance protection for company and client’s most valuable assets.

The 2-day CyberXchange Conference, featured keynotes sessions, exhibitions and workshops. Reiterating the need for organizations to prepare regulations for when risks will arise, Dr David Isiavwe, President of Information Security Society of Africa-Nigeria (ISAAN) stated that. “Organizations, boards and CEOs need to be proactive in dealing with cyber crime”.

CyberXchange Conference 2016 highlights includepractical ready-to-use training for IT security professionals and a unique Master-class for chief executives to get a handle on cyber security at their organizations. As well as a Facebook-sponsored CyberXchange Hackathon session, which aimed at developing the capacity of budding information security professionals. The winning team went home with a cash prize of N700, 000.
